I think they had a string of new hires in all fairness. So they were slow & didn't know the ingredients. My burrito tasted good but was loose & had a lot of cucumber & tons of Krab. My kid had a bowl they said the rice was mushy. I ordered 2 sides of seaweed salad & the sauce on it was not right, it was very oily, not sweet or tangy.
Came in to treat myself and I couldn't be happier. The store was clean and cold. And I was greeted right away. Faith got my order perfecr and was super nice, great customer service, fun energy. 10/10 Will in fact be coming back
Wonderful staff Brittney and Aly was wonderful help by explaining all of my options. They greeted me with a smile friendly voice. Some places I have been need to take a note from them for customer service thank you all and keep up the good work.
We came for dinner around 6 pm on a Wednesday night, and we were the only people in the restaurant. We ordered the Crunch Roll, the Sunny Cali roll, and the Waikiki roll. All 3 were delicious. We will be back!
Pretty rarely do I leave a review for a food joint, that said, I have to give major props to Kevin. Best customer service I have seen in a long time! He started out asking about the day and followed up with solid suggestions. He was super knowledgeable on the menu and offered perfect substitutions. On top of that, he offered me a sample of a Wasabi Masago (just out of curiosity), which isn’t normally displayed, which is a cherry on top of sushi-grade customer service. This place is always a solid go-to, but Kevin likely just made me a regular! Kevin clearly cares about his work, hope he finds a management role soon.
It was…. okay. Fairly basic american style sushi with heavy sauces and flavors. Burrito was poorly made and practically falling apart and it turns out a DOUBLE serving of avocado in the poke bowl is half of an avocado. The worst offender by far was the teriyaki chicken. They pulled precooked chicken pieces out of a warming drawer that looked like it’d been there since 9 am. Drenched it with teriyaki sauce and served it with rice. With that said, it was a good amount of food per person and the flavors themselves were about what you’d expect from a fast casual sushi place. Just stay away from the chicken. Also practically all the soda flavors were unavailable but they did have a drink fridge before ordering that had a good variety.
Shout out to the 3 servers working tonight. My husband and I went at almost closing time, when they were about ready to go home & had everything almost cleaned up & put away but they still treated us very well & didn’t seem to mind. One girl was cleaning so we didn’t really interact with her much but the guy & the girl making our food were extremely awesome. Wish I had gotten their names. They had great attitudes & were very welcoming & courteous towards us. The food was bomb as well. I can’t wait to go back. We live 2 hours away & are staying at a nearby hotel for the weekend but I would travel 2 hours just to come eat here again. We were super pleased with the food & the service. Because of that, I left a 20 tip but I know they deserved more. Thank you guys for making our night with your food service & your kindness. Hope to see you back soon.
